I have 30 years of financial experience. Eighteen years as a professional banker and financial controller. Analyzing, studying, budgeting, and projecting financials.
The twelve years prior to my professional career, I made every financial mistake a person could make. Addiction, toxic relationships, homelessness, paycheck-to-paycheck, and everything in between.
My degrees are in Economics and Finance, which is the book smart knowledge, but more importantly, I have the street smart knowledge of real life tangible experience.

We will then look at identity: who are we now and who do we want to be? By moving past our desires and into disciplines, we focus on the concepts of training vs. trying.

Training: Exercising discipline to become more of who you already are.
WHY CAN'T I CHANGE?
New Community Financial works on training the mind and body to overcome. "Trying" is a short term mindset that allows failure through minimal commitment. "Training" is long term commitment starting with what you can do today to enable you to do even more tomorrow. This applies to every area of our lives.
With training we will learn the following:
Intentionality: having purpose with every small step.
Discipline: changing old habits into new ones.
Identity: learning what it means.
Confidence and humility: learning how to increase both.
We will dive into the devoted commitment driven by a deeper 'why.' When you know who you are, you know what to do.
People are programmed to choose and pursue what we want now, over what we want most, fulfilling instant gratification. Our goal is to reprogram this mindset.
